In the first few images, again taken from the old bus station before it was demolished, you can see the Albert Dock in the distance. In the foreground, the buildings begin to take shape. They have been constructed out of a materials to emulate Liverpool Castle which once stood on this site. To the left of this area, a central performance space is being created close to where visitors will be able to see part of the remains of the Old Dock. The completed shops opened in June 2008.
