Chavasse Park
Taken from the, now demolished, NCP car park the first images show the sheer expanse of this part of the Paradise Project. Here, the underground structures can be seen before they were covered up with new park space. This is the site of the original Old Dock and the Pool of Liverpool. Until the middle of the last century, it was the location of the Customs House. The top of the huge cone shape will just be visible in the Park. A section of the Old Dock can be viewed through the floor outside John Lewis.
