MERSEY FERRY TERMINAL
Pier Head
Mersey Ferry operators Merseytravel are building a new £10m terminal at the Pier Head. The Shanghai Palace restaurant and existing tent-like terminal made way for the new development. It will have improved café and retail facilities, better waiting areas, easy access to a new landing stage and a river viewing area. The canal link extension can be seen in the foreground of latter pictures.
